Returns Policy

If you are unsure of the suitability of a product to meet your needs then please contact our customer support before buying an item. When you buy an item from us you recognise that you are buying in accordance with this Global Technics return policy.

 

Return Policy

 

We know that you will be pleased with your purchases from Global Technics. However, there may be occasions when you will need to return items to us.


Items Damaged in Transit

If any items were damaged in transit, we ask that you report it to us within 7 working days (please note that this is 48 hours for our business customers). If the items are visibly damaged on receipt, it\'s best to sign the carrier\'s delivery note accordingly. Items should be returned in their original packaging complete with all accessories and documentation. Once received back into our warehouse, we\'ll issue a replacement or full refund to you via your original payment method and reimburse your reasonable return carriage costs.

Items Faulty from Manufacture on Arrival

If your items are suspected to be faulty from manufacture on arrival you should contact us immediately via email or telephone so that we may assist in verifing the fault, you have 28 calendar days in which to inform us of the fault (please note that for our business customers, this is 14 calendar days). Items should be returned in their original packaging complete with all accessories and documentation. Once we have verified the fault, we\'ll issue a replacement, credit or full refund to you via your original payment method. We test returned items, and if a returned item is found not to be faulty by our technicians we may return the item to you, in this instance you will be liable for the return carriage.

Items Faulty in Warranty Period

If any of your purchases develop a fault, and it\'s more than 28 calendar days since receipt, then provided your item is within its warranty period, you are entitled to a warranty repair. For business customers all warranty repairs after 28 days of receipt are referred directly to the manufacturer ( unless otherwise stated).

Open-Box Items (Used)

Please note that our open-box (used) stock is sold with 90 calendar days warranty only, and therefore any claims under the warranty after 90 days of receipt will not be accepted.

If you change your mind

If you have simply changed your mind about any item ordered and you wish to return it, then in line with the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) you can do so provided you inform us of your decision within 7 days of receipt. The item must not be used and must be \'as new\' when returned to us. Once you\'ve informed us by letter or email that you wish to return goods under the DSR, you have 28 calendar days to do so, at your own expense. Once the item is received at Global Technics and is shipped in accordance with this returns policy, we\'ll issue a credit or refund less any card and bank processing fees charged by the payment processing company, they will not be refunded. 

Please note this policy has some limitations and does not apply to business customers.


Returned Items Re-stock or Return Charge

All goods must be returned in the original packing and undamaged with our correct returns authorisation number.

Please Note: We reserve the right to charge a standard 15% handling fee on all goods returned because they where ordered wrongly, no longer needed, sale/buying of house fell through or deemed unsuitable for any reason after sale and delivery.

If you have notified us in writing within 7 days from receiving the goods that you have decided to return a product because it is unsuitable and you have not used the item and it is returned to us un-damaged in the original unmarked & unopened packaging, then we will issue a refund less any return carriage costs for all our 'consumer' customers under the DSR. However  If the item has been opened, used or installed and you still wish to return the product because it is unsuitable then you will also be subject to a 30% restock charge. If the item is returned to us and is damaged, has been used, had been installed, badly packaged for return, damaged in transit whilst being returned or has parts or the instruction manuals are missing - we cannot restock item and you will also be subject to a 60% return charge. We do not refund any carriage charges, you will have to return products at your own cost.

Items delivered electronically are not entitled to any refund for any reason.

Need to return an item?

You can request a return by email, you will need a RTA (returns authorisation number) before returning. Items that are returned without an authorisation number supplied by us will not be processed, may be returned to you and no refund or credit will be issued. Phone calls requesting a return are not acceptable.
